Due to COVID-19, the annual fall semester Weber State University Block Party has been canceled. After a long process of proposed alternatives to the event that attracts thousands of students, the school decided that the best option was to cancel it.
The Wildcat Block Party is a major event that brings students and faculty together and is an opportunity for students to learn about the different services provided by the university.
The annual event also kicks off the school year. Among the many activities is the President’s Purple Pancake Breakfast, where WSU administrators serve free breakfast.
Due to the concern of the spread of COVID-19, Block Party is another university event that has been canceled.
