The Chinese Club celebrated 2013, the Year of the Snake, at Weber State University with a dragon and his helpers passing out “good-luck money” to all those in attendance. The money is a Chinese New Year tradition meant to bring people prosperity in the new year.

This is the fourth year the Chinese Club has hosted the event. Alex Brown, Kip Corry, Hua Hui and club president Amanda Truong hosted this year’s celebration. Featured food booths included Golden Dynasty, Lucky Buffet and Pearl Milk Tea Club. The event also included a fashion show.

Students from both Uintah and Mountain Green elementary schools participated.
