The bad luck for the volleyball team continued as they dropped their 12th consecutive match of the season to Northern Arizona University 3-1.
“Overall I’m pleased with our effort tonight,” head coach Jeremiah Larsen said in a statement. “The first two sets we hung in well with the best team in our conference. They just made plays to put them over the top. In the third set we’ve played some of the best volleyball we’ve played all year. Which is encouraging. We just have to learn to do it for longer periods of time.”
The team has had a roller coaster season, dominating in places like the CEFCU Classic where they swept the competition, but struggling in others such as recent play in conference action.
The team will head out for the final road trip of their season, playing first at Sacramento State then finishing up at Portland State. Following this road trip, the team will play their last two games of the season at home against Montana State and Idaho State.
