Sophomore Taylor Chirstensen-Kinikini is this week’s Signpost Athlete of the Week for her efforts this past weekend against Utah Valley University.
During the game, she recorded a total of 37 assists, leading the team. She also recorded three total attacks with two kills and three points for the team for a total attacking percentage of .667 in the three-set loss to UVU.
Overall this season, she has recorded a total 327 of the team’s 367 and has been a key part in the defense for the team. In her first season, she led the team with 1,134 assists, the first Wildcat to do so since 2007, and had 19 games with over 30 assists, including one game with 61 assists recorded. She also garnered a Big Sky All-Academic honor.
