• Constructions alters shuttle stop

Through Sept. 30, construction on the south side of the Dee Events center parking lot will move both parking and shuttle services to the northeast side. There is still plenty of parking for students at the Dee Events center.

• Davis campus ribbon cutting
• The Weber State University Davis campus will celebrate the grand opening of D3, its new building, on Aug. 29. The ribbon-cutting will be at 5 p.m., and guided tours and refreshments will be offered from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

• Bookstore extends hours
• For the first week of fall semester, until Aug. 29, the campus bookstore will have extended hours: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
