The Municipal Gardens in downtown Ogden are once again aglow as the annual Christmas Village returns with thousands of twinkling lights and various Christmas-themed cottages decorated by local organizations and businesses.
The event opened Nov. 29 with the Electric Lights Parade and will run through Jan. 1. Lights turn on every evening at 5 p.m. and dim at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and at midnight on Friday and Saturday.
The holiday attraction has long since been a seasonal tradition for Ogden residents and visitors alike. Families, friends and couples can bundle up and stroll through the gardens to admire illuminated displays, festive decorations and themed cottages showcasing our local community.
The Christmas Village offers a free way for residents and visitors to celebrate the season while enjoying the outdoors and the charm of downtown Ogden during the holiday season.
