‘Weber Storm’ to promote clubs and organizations on campus

The Weber State University Student Association (WSUSA) will be presenting “Weber Storm” in the upcoming week. WSUSA created “Weber Storm” as a tool that will be used to promote general involvement in clubs and organizations on campus.

“The goal is to do visual marketing by having clubs come to campus wearing shirts and club swag that they have to simply talk with students about how they can get involved with certain clubs,” WSUSA leadership team member Boomer Kelley said.

WSUSA has been advertising this two-part campaign very subtly around campus via posters. The posters that have been displayed have stated “the storm is coming” and as of March 21, will be switched out for a new message broadcasting that “the storm is here,” according to Kelley.

The Clubs and Organizations Department, along with WSUSA, will be working on this project in the following week and hopes to reach out to all clubs on campus.
Watch out, because the storm will be here before you know it.

The “Weber Storm” marketing strategy and presumed social media hashtag will be in effect on March 22 and March 23.
