    Kyle letter

    Welcome, Wildcats.

This is a time when many of us are still peeling the vacation sunburns and readjusting to waking up before the sun does, but that all means Fall Semester 2011 has just begun. I would like to be one of the first people to officially welcome you (back) to Weber State University. My name is Kyle Braithwaite, and I will be serving you as the Weber State University Student Association (WSUSA) president this year. My job is to be your liaison to the WSU administration, Utah Student Association, and other administrative/student groups across campus and statewide. Please feel free to e-mail me with any concerns you may have, and I or one of the WSU Student Association executive officers would be more than willing to help.

As a Wildcat, I am excited to help spread the pride, spirit, and excitement of being a Weber State student. This year is an excellent opportunity for you to “catch the Purple Plague” and show the world that you truly bleed purple! Our job as WSUSA is to help you get involved in anything that will interest you and help make college more than just classrooms and lectures. We will provide you with many opportunities to take advantage of parties, concerts, leadership seminars, conferences, popular speakers, diversity, service, clubs, and other organizational events. Whether this is your first year or your umpteenth year, whether you’re studying at Ogden, Davis, Morgan, Roy, or anywhere else, you will find numerous opportunities to catch and spread the infectious Weber State pride known as the Purple Plague!

    Welcome,

    Kyle Braithwaite

    WSUSA President
