Tired of Driving
On Jan. 24, a Weber State University officer noticed a parked car that had not moved for two nights in the Southwest parking lot of the Dee Events Center. The officer conducted an investigation and discovered a left-rear flat tire. Weber Police reached out to the owner of the vehicle.
Unknown Resident
On Jan. 27, Weber State Police were notified of a man in Hall One at Wildcat Village who was not a resident. Upon arrival, informants told police that they approached the man in the main lounge area where they confirmed he was not a resident, but due to a delay in notifying the police, the man had left before officers arrived.
Lost Driver’s License
On Jan. 27, WSUPD was notified about a found driver’s license at the D3 Building of the WSU Davis Campus. An officer retrieved the license from a WSU employee and returned it to the owner. WSU Police reminds students, faculty and staff that lost items of $100 value or more can be found at the Weber State Police Station. Lost items less than $100 can be found at the Shepherd Union Information Desk.
Outside the Lines
On Jan. 28, police received a call concerning multiple vehicles parked on a sidewalk at the Wildcat Village. Upon arrival, police observed three cars parked on the Wildcat Village Courtyard. The owners of the vehicles claimed they were taking photos of their cars. Owners of the parked cars complied with the police’s request to re-park.
Hit and Run
On Jan. 29, Weber State Police responded to a hit and run. Police asked the complainant to come to the station, where they reviewed over two days’ worth of video surveillance. They were unable to locate when and where damage to the complainant’s vehicle took place.
Icewalkers
On Jan. 31, WSUPD responded to a suspicious person report. Police were informed of two juveniles walking on the ice at the Ada Lindquist Plaza and Pond. Police were unable to locate the two juveniles.
