Weber State University offers many opportunities to showcase your skills through the university’s club teams.

To start things off, there is the Weber State men’s hockey club. The team plays at the Weber County Ice Sheet, often packed with Wildcat hockey fans. The most recent season ended with the team winning over 30 games and only losing twice.

For those looking to get their “football” fix, the soccer club is the place to be. The men’s and women’s rugby is another one with big hits to wow the fans and have a good all-around time.

For those with the talents of a rope and saddle, take a look at joining the Rodeo Team. If nine innings and home runs get your blood pumping, think about checking out Weber State Club Baseball. There’s also the Bowling Club that provides students the opportunity to show what they’ve got on a lane with 10 frames.

The Climbing Club is for those looking for an adrenaline rush from climbing the toughest mountains that life has to offer. Ping pong masters get to have their time in the spotlight in the Table Tennis Club. For students who can’t stay away from the water, the Swimming Club offers the chance to race. The school also offers clubs for weightlifting, tennis and snowboarding.

Lastly, the university offers the eSports Gaming Team for students who enjoy competing in video games. The school has clubs for Valorant, Rocket League, Marvel Rivals, League of Legends, Overwatch, Rainbow Six Siege and Super Smash Bros.

All these clubs offer many opportunities for individuals with talents to display their skills with fellow students and compete for Weber State University. Clubs such as hockey, men’s soccer, rugby and baseball require tryouts to join the teams. However, the rest of the sports are open to anybody. You get one free practice before you have to pay.

Weber State also offers intramural sports. Indoor soccer and volleyball take place during fall semester, while basketball takes place in the spring semester. You can either create a team with your friends or sign up as a free agent to be assigned to a team. The winning team receives a T-shirt and the pride of being intramural champions.
