As part of the Walker Political Leadership Institute series, the Olene S. Walker Institute of Politics and Public Service is hosting an event that will further explain Senate Bill 54, or the Count My Vote initiative, that was signed into law by Governor Gary Herbert in 2014.
This event will be presented by Taylor Morgan, Count My Vote’s executive director, and Justin Lee, Deputy Director of Elections for the Lieutenant Governor’s Office. During the event attendees will learn about the senate bill and how to get started on the path of getting elected into public office in Utah.
The Count My Vote Signature Gathering Path to the Primary Training will be held on Jan. 13 at Weber State’s Hurst Center. The event starts at 7 p.m. and is free to the public.
