The Big Sky Conference announced on Wednesday that Audrey Biggs had been selected to the volleyball All-Conference First Team.
Biggs is the first player from Weber State to obtain such an honor since Chelsea Bair in 2009. Biggs is the ninth Wildcat to be placed on the All-Conference First Team.
Biggs’ career at Weber State left her as one of the best players to don the purple and white. This season she played in 111 sets and led the Big Sky in kills (4.15 per set) and points (4.61 per set). Such an achievement hasn’t happened at Weber State since 1997 with Melissa Leonard.
Biggs was able to have 20 or more kills in a single match 12 times with a career-high of 29 kills against Air Force. She also recorded four double-doubles during the season.
The 2014 season saw Biggs enter into the WSU record books, as she passed 1,000 career kills. She is the 13th player in team history to do so.
Biggs was the only one on the Big Sky All-Conference First team to be from a university that did not end in the top four of the Big Sky standings. Weber State ended the season with a record of 7-24 overall and 3-13 in Big Sky play.
