For seniors who are getting ready to graduate, GradFest is the one event they can’t afford to miss.
On April 19 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Shepherd Union Ballrooms, seniors are invited to attend GradFest where they can pick up various graduation paraphernalia, including their cap and gown, tassel, class ring, graduation announcements and more.
Along with the various items and displays at GradFest, students will also be able to receive free cake, a graduation gift from the alumni association and a professional graduation portrait in a cap and gown.
Students at GradFest will also be given three tickets to the Graduation Luncheon held on April 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Shepherd Union Building.
Spring Commencement will begin at 8 a.m. on April 29 at the Dee Events Center. After the main ceremony, the individual colleges on campus will hold their own convocations at different times throughout the day in either the Dee Events Center, the Austad Auditorium in the Browning Center or in the Shepherd Union Ballrooms.
If students have any problems with their cap or gown before commencement, they can go to the first floor of the Campus Store in the Shepherd Union for assistance from April 20 through April 27 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. If there are problems with a cap or gown on the day of commencement, students can receive help from the Campus Store located inside the Dee Events Center from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
