After braving the cold in the Nearly Naked Mile to donate food and clothing to local charities, Weber State students warmed up at the Nearly Naked Dance following the men’s basketball game at the Dee Events Center.
To continue charity efforts, WSUSA posed an entry-fee of two cans of food to donate to the Weber Cares Food Pantry or one clothing item to donate to the Lantern House homeless shelter. WSUSA estimates that nearly 250 people attended the dance, some bringing more than just the suggested amount of donations. The first 100 to arrive at the dance received free glow-in-in-the-dark shutter shades.
Concession stands were open as well as a photo booth and a glow-in-the-dark airbrush tattoos stand.
DJ Justin Reid and DJ K.P. kept the crowd moving throughout the night.
This was the 6th year that the WSUSA has hosted the Nearly Naked Mile and they only hope to expand the unorthodox charity event every year.
