Weber State University continues the search to find a replacement for Ann Millner, who announced at the end of the spring semester that she would be stepping down as president.
The Utah State Board of Regents formed a Presidential Search Committee to lead the search for the new president of WSU. The board is also in the process of selecting a search-consulting firm.
The search consultant will help the university and the Board of Regents narrow down candidates for the position. Then the committee will begin accepting applications and nominations for the position of president.
Applicants will be screened and interviewed by the search committee. The committee will then select a list of finalists, which will be recommended to the Board of Regents.
The finalists will then be announced and public campus meetings will be held with the finalists. The Board of Regents will interview the final candidates and announce who the new president is once they have come to a decision.
The Board of Regents’ decision should be announced in late August or September.
