While two of us made their way up to Pocatello to interview Chuck Wight, four of us spent the better part of a week in Reno for the Big Sky championship.
This is the last year that will see Reno hosting the tournament, as next year it will be held in Boise, Idaho. For all its neon, booze and gambling, Reno never made sense to host the championship.
It was always too far, and the city always too disinterested, so the move is not unexpected.

It’s noisy, bright, too far away and expensive, but despite all its failings, it will almost be sad to see the whole Big Sky circus pack up and leave.
