Student OK after welfare check by campus police
The subject of a campus-wide search by WSU campus police on Wednesday was found to be safe according to Lt. Seth Cawley.
Cawley said that the campus police had received a call Wednesday asking for a welfare check on a female student. He said that campus police located the student and determined that she was OK and took no further action.
Signpost news reporter Keela Disterhaft reported seeing campus police at the shuttle bus stop by the library asking students if they had seen the girl in a photo the officer was holding.
