Army ROTC hosts 'Wildcat Madness'

Students laced up their sneakers and took the to court during “Wildcat Madness” this past weekend. Weber State’s Army ROTC program hosted this basketball event for the first time on Saturday in the Wildcat Center.  Twelve inter-mural teams competed in a bracket from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This basketball tournament resembled “March Madness,” and it was the second event Army ROTC has hosted this year, following the success of the Wildcat Turkey Bowl football game.

Cadet Emily Uharriet, in charge of the event, said it was a great turnout this year, adding that the ROTC will now be hosting it every year, and “hopefully every year there will be more people who come out.”
