A small crowd gathered at WSU’s new LGBT Resource Center as President Chuck Wight announced a new endowment for the center.
The endowment was funded by a generous donation from Jane and Tami Marquardt and will establish a new speaker series and create a resource library on LGBT issues, in addition to supporting the new center.
The speaker series will be known as the “Marquardt Peace and Possibility Series.”
“By creating this center, we will save lives,” said Jane Marquardt. “We probably already have.”
