Weber State Tattoo Charity Art Show

Monday night on the Davis campus 4 tattoo shops and a henna artist came together for a fundraiser.

There were lots of prizes donated by the tattoo shops, prints from some of the artist, coupons for

discounts on tattoo sessions and several free sessions that were raffled off.

I attended with hopes of finding a tattoo artist who could design a tattoo that I have been wanting to get done.

I looked through the books of examples on the table of Unhinged Tattoos and saw some really cool

designs. They did some neat cover-ups on tattoos that people no longer wanted. I have seen henna

tattoos done for years and have wanted to give that a try. I was able to get a small one on my arm.

I think I’ll use henna when I am trying to decide if I like a design and location, that way it isn’t

permanent, and I can try multiple places and designs before I choose for sure.
