WSUSA to host town hall meeting with Ogden City officials

The Weber State University Student Senate will host a town hall meeting on Feb. 11 with Ogden City Mayor Mike Caldwell and members of the Ogden City Council. In cooperation with members of the WSU Student Senate, Ogden City officials will discuss parking and transit issues from downtown Ogden City to the Ogden WSU campus. The public is invited to attend.

WSU professor awarded Literature Prize in Japan

Supply chain management professor Paul Schvaneveldt’s research paper “A Cross-Country Comparison of the Mechanisms Relating Customer Satisfaction and Market Share” received the 2013 Nikkei Quality Management Literature Prize. The award, established in the 1950s, is widely recognized as a key driver behind the success of Japan’s quality movement. The Deming Prize Committee awarded the prize in Japan in January.

Hall selected as Center for Sales Excellence director

Aaron Hall, who started as volunteer interim director for WSU’s Alan E. Hall Center for Sales Excellence one year ago, will further the center in its role as the only established center of its kind in a public university in Utah. The center graduated Aaron Hall from its program in 1995.
