    Library collects pioneer documents

    Stewart Library Digital Collections is assisting the Utah Academic Library Consortium and Mountain West Digital Library in collecting documents and pictures created during 1842–69 that reflect social, political, military, business and religious life on the frontier during the period of overland migration. The Stewart Library will hold scanning events throughout northern Utah. Those interested in learning more may call 801-626-6486 or email [email protected].

    Asian film festival kicks off

    The Asian studies program will present the Asian Film Festival beginning Sept. 4. The festival will consist of eight film screenings, each starting at 7 p.m. in the Shepherd Union Building’s Wildcat Theater. Admission to all the films will be free.

    WSU holds volunteer fair

    Weber State University’s Center for Community Engaged Learning will host a free volunteer fair, featuring local nonprofit and government organizations geared to help students find volunteer opportunities, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Shepherd Union Atrium.
